Mac Roche

Coach Roche brings a winning culture and background to Flathead High School. Coach Roche played college football at Carroll College where he earned all conference honors as quarterback for the Fighting Saints. In his tenure Carroll College won 3 frontier conference championships and multiple runs in the NAIA playoffs. After Carroll College, Roche played in the Dream Bowl Senior all star game as well as quarterbacked Team USA in the World University Championships. In 2016 Roche accepted the quarterbacks coach position at Loyola Sacred Heart where he was also the Activities Director. In his three years at Loyola, the Rams made it to the State Championship game twice with another semi-final appearance. In 2019 Coach Roche accepted the position of offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at his alma mater, Whitefish High School. In his four years Bulldogs reached the playoffs multiple times and won their first playoff game in 7 years. In 2023 Roche accepted the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach at Philip Simmons High school in Charleston, SC. In his two season the Iron Horses have won Region championships as well as had back to back 10 win season where they reached the 2nd and 3rd round of the playoffs.

Coach Roche is excited about moving back to the Flathead Valley with his wife Sheila and their two children: Emelia (4) and Archer (2).
